Bernhard Christian Wintzek (a cura di), Geheim – Aus dem Archiv der Reichsregierung – MUT – 1976
Interesting collection of Nazi documents on the origins of WWII, reproduced in facsimile copy. Published by MUT Verlag, group founded by Christian Wintzek (1943-2018), already printer of MUT, popular West German magazine of history, culture and politics, oriented on right-wing positions, the large volume duplicates 650 original papers, made public between 1939 and 1940 by various agencies of Hitler's regime, related to the alleged Polish violences againts Volksdeutsche that Nazi propaganda exploited as casus belli for the invasion of the country, and, therefore, for the triggering of WWII. Endowed with a vast ā as much as dramatic ā photographic support, the tome, internally in very good conditions, reports however a certain foxing at the edges and a worn binding, with the dust jacket's plastic covering partially leafed on the front, small tears at back margins, flaps curiously bound at the panels with transparent scotch tape and the first sheet blocks (1Ć·42) detached from the glueing: a volume anyway rare and highly interesting for the scholar, offered at a really shocking price!
