Interesting British āFirst Field Dressingā packet, dating back to the Second World War. Housed in a specific pocket inside jacket and trousers of troops and officers Battledress, as well as in pants of RAF aviators and Civil Defense personnel, the kit, practically identical to the WWI version, included, in a simple khaki cotton packaging, in its turn wrapped in cellophane, two large gauze bandages and a fastening pin. In excellent conservation conditions, the piece reports, stamped in black, indications on contents and application methods: right below, producer (Ā«T.J. Smith & Nephew, Ltd. ā HullĀ») and production period (Ā«Jan/June 1944Ā») - a perfect accessory, to complete the individual gear of the British soldier engaged in the Italian Campaign and Liberation of France.
